Here's a picture of a scissor fob and holder that I received from an exchange this year -- It's so lovely and I refuse to use it. It's on permanent display in my home. I love it!!

The fob is a tiny biscornu -- too cute. The scissor holder has a long beaded length so that I could wear it if I choose to.

Quaker Flower Scissor Fob

I received this package from Jill this morning! isn't it great?!
She made a beautiful scissor fob "quaker Flower" on Lt green Lugana linen with DMC variations #4065! she attached the scissors with the protective tip, and I love the Mother of Pearl charms! not sure what she stuffed it with but would be perfect for sticking my pins in too!! thanks so much Jill! your work is Awesome!

A Winter Fob

This fob is part of Lizzie Kate's January Block Flip-Its. It is stitched with DMC Floss and GAST. I took many pictures of this and good not get a real good one. I "borrowed" the pic that the recipient, Joan, took. It is much better. If you look closely, I stitched some AB crystal Pailettes in the center of the 4 snowflakes. They are very cool.

Hello, Ok, found patterns on the internet, started with the house and needed to add more..so found another pattern with a different house and added the words and one key..still needed to balance!! so added the other key and the tree! Think it is finally finished! LOL!

Thought that I would share some fobs that I have made. Enjoy!! This is a MacKintosh Rose scissor fob that was done on unknown linen and I used DMC threads. The middle of the rose is beaded as I didn't want to stitch it.

This is the front of a scissor fob that I made for a scissor fob exchange. The design is from Dragon Dreams I believe. It's done on unknown evenweave with DMC threads and metallics. It is beaded all around the edges.

This is the back of the above scissor fob where I personalized it for my exchange partner.

I stitched this fob for myself for my Annual Stitching Retreat which had a Patriotic/Olympic theme this year. This fob was designed for the Glory scissors, however, I already had a fob for my Glory scissors so I changed it to my Freedom fob.

Here is a fob that I just stitched on Saturday night.

I had seen a humbug fob done by Carol R. for the
Hooked on Exchanging fob exchange and had to try
my hand at it.

My friend Cathy B, gave me a website: www.caron-net.com.

Once there go to designer Spotlight and then to Carol Tinson.

Then you too can have a humbug fob. I just love it. I will be
trying some other designs and fabrics.

Y2K Bug Scissor Fob

Remember when all anyone could think about was the "Y2K" bug and all the disasters that would befall us all because all the computers would go crazy when the date rolled over? This little fob was stitched at that time, using a Bent Creek design "The Bugs". I pulled the floss colors from memory (which proved to be faulty!) so the colors were wrong but I just loved how it turned out and it has been a favorite for many years. It is stitched on 36ct Vintage linen with DMC flosses.
